Reading & Other Resources

I find tremendous value in learning something new whenever I feel stuck. I’ve practiced this throughout my life, leaning on music, art, reading, meditation, alternative healing and empowerment modalities, creative expression, therapy, my work, and education to get me through. Throughout my cancer journey, I’ve relied on my doctors’ expertise and skill, but also my own research. I believe that in order to heal our bodies, we must understand ourselves and disease. Changing our diets or lifestyles when appropriate, using allopathic and alternative medicine, and taking supplements is of course part of this, but we also need to pay mind to the way we live in our bodies. So often changing how we think, feel, and express ourselves is overlooked but our minds, our hearts, and our subconscious is also part of this healing. Beginning wherever we are, we can begin to repair our relationship with ourselves, and lay the foundation for abundant health. Here are some of the resources I have used to find inspiration, build skills, learn something, get support, move my body and more, including businesses I support and/or patronize, and recommended reading for anyone walking a cancer journey or wanting to heal any other area of their life.
